The funds, raised through his first solo photo exhibition, “Narcissism: Jaemin First Exhibition,” will be used to support children worldwide facing the harsh realities of winter due to conflict and natural disasters.
ADVERTISEMENT“I wanted to do something meaningful together with my fans as a way to repay their love,” Jaemin said, as shared by Korea JoongAng Daily. “I hope this can help, even if just a little, in ensuring all children have a warm year-end.”
This act of generosity is just the latest chapter in Jaemin’s long-standing commitment to philanthropy. The “Hello Future” idol also served as a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF in 2018, supporting music education programs for underprivileged children in Vietnam.
UNICEF Korea’s Secretary General Jo Mi Jin expressed gratitude for Jaemin’s meaningful contribution, calling it a heartwarming holiday gift that reflects the true spirit of giving for the children during the holiday season.
“We sincerely thank Jaemin and his fans for sending a special gift to children during this holiday season. This donation will be used to help children facing difficult winters due to war, disasters, and poverty,” the secretary general shared.
